About 

Josie's Riding Experience, LLC was established January 2020. We are located just south of Walnut,Iowa! We are solely ran by Josie Cable.
Josie has a wide array of experience working with horses. Josie grew up loving and working with horses. She started working at a horse camp when she was 12 years old which she worked there until graduating high school. She than earned both an A.A.S  in Equine Science and A.A  Equine Management at Ellsworth Community College in 2012. She continued her education and received her A.A.S in Veterinarian Technology from Iowa Western Community College in 2015.
While in college and outside of college she worked with different trainers and veterinarians learning many techniques on handling, training, riding, care, health, and nutrition. Josie continues to improve on her skills every day and believes in having an open mind to learn all that you can.

We currently have 4 horses and 1 mini horse. They all have unique stories so check out their own pages to learn more about them!
Each horse receives routine farrier and veterinarian care, as needed chiropractic/massage therapy, and annual dental checks. Each horse had to pass an extensive checklist to be used as a lesson horse and each receive continued training from the instructor.
